The short version: your audiobook files never leave your computer. We don't see them, store them or upload them.
Your files
All conversions happen inside your web browser on your own device. Your audio files, file names, book titles and chapter names are never sent to our servers or anyone else.
What we collect
- Anonymous usage statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across websites.
- Anonymous feature events. We count actions like "conversion started" or "conversion failed", together with rough ranges (for example, file size "100–500 MB") and error codes. These never include file names, book details or anything that identifies you.
- Your email, if you give it to us. If you ask to be notified about Pro, we store your email address to send you that message. We only use it for that, and we never share or sell it.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your audio files, file names, book information, or personal details beyond an email you choose to share. To stop abuse of the email form, we briefly use a scrambled form of your IP address to limit how often it can be submitted; we don't store your IP address.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare hosts this website, delivers the conversion engine (FFmpeg) to your browser and provides anonymous analytics.
- jsDelivr is a backup source for the conversion engine. If our own copy can't be loaded, your browser downloads it from jsDelivr, which can see your IP address like any website.
- PayPal will process Pro payments. We don't see or store your card details.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your email at any time by contacting us.
